What is Talaria?

Talaria is the iPhone client for Hermes Agent. It is built for people who already run Hermes and want a native mobile chat client without relying on Telegram or another third-party messaging service.

Why does Talaria need an HTTPS URL?

The App Store build expects Hermes to be reachable over HTTPS from your iPhone. Hermes can expose that through a public domain, Tailscale, or another HTTPS path that fits your setup.

Does Talaria send my chats through Talaria servers?

No. Talaria connects directly to your Hermes endpoint. The website is only a public product and support surface.

How does pairing work?

Talaria shows a setup prompt. You send that prompt to your Hermes agent, Hermes prepares a secure connection bundle, and you paste that bundle into the app to pair the phone.

What happens if I delete the app?

Local cache and stored credentials on the device can be removed when the app is deleted. Hermes-side sessions remain on your Hermes instance.
